What it is
A fan-made encyclopedia of Joji Tani, known as Screaming Mad George: punk frontman, special-effects artist, painter, game designer and professor. It collects his credits one at a time, from his band The Mad to A Nightmare on Elm Street 4, Big Trouble in Little China, Society and The Guyver, and his PlayStation pinball game Paranoiascape.
What's on it
A timeline of films, records and commercials, earliest first
A page per film credit: what he built, and how sure the record is
Music: The Mad, and the masks, props and prosthetics he made for other musicians
Paranoiascape, his 1998 PlayStation pinball game
The Video Vault: links to interviews, making-ofs, scenes and longplays on YouTube
In His Own Words: short quotes, each linked to its published source or recording timestamp
The George Files: a photo research archive with cautious captions
His career era by era, and an In Memoriam page
How it's built
A static site built with Astro and MDX, with hand-written CSS and no UI framework. Each film is one content file, so adding a credit is adding a page. Claims are sourced, and uncertain credits are labelled as uncertain.
