Compliance and privacy, built in
Every spot ships with the disclosures already in it. Here's what that covers, and how we handle your material.
This page describes how we work. It isn't legal advice.
Compliance
Dramatizations are labeled.
Missouri Rule 4-7.1(i) allows simulated portrayals of a lawyer, client, victim, scene or event as long as the ad conspicuously says it's a simulation. We put the label on screen during the dramatized scenes, not only at the end. We do the same in Illinois as best practice.
The Missouri disclosure is included.
Every spot carries the required line: "The choice of a lawyer is an important decision and should not be based solely upon advertisements."
Your responsible attorney is named.
Every spot shows the responsible attorney's name and office.
Fee and results lines carry their caveats.
"No fee unless we win" lines always include the costs caveat. Case results carry a past-results disclaimer.
Real attorneys appear only with signed consent.
A real attorney appears on screen through AI only with a specific, signed AI-likeness consent. Illinois has a digital-replica law on this, and we apply the same rule everywhere.
We keep a copy of every ad.
We keep one for you, which helps with Missouri's 2-year retention rule.
Your firm has final approval of every ad and remains responsible for its advertising.
Privacy
A private server, set up for you.
Your projects run on a private server set up for your project, not on a shared public AI app.
No AI company trains on your material.
That covers your scripts, your footage and any likenesses.
Likenesses need signed consent.
Real people's likenesses are used only with signed consent, and they're retired when that consent ends.
This page explains how we build ads. It isn't legal advice. For questions about your own obligations, ask your bar or your counsel.
Questions firms ask
Will this get us in trouble with the bar?
Compliance is built into every spot: dramatization labels, the required disclosures and your responsible attorney's name and office. You approve everything before it airs.
Can you put me, the attorney, in the ads?
Yes, filmed or as an AI likeness, and only with your signed consent. It's a Custom add-on.
Who owns the ads?
You get a perpetual license to every finished ad. Our contracts assign the human-created creative work to you.
